Like FRP only way better
Are you a builder? Are you still using FRP? Believe me I was like you. We're back in 2001 well I was a general contractor building franchise restaurants I was introduced to FRP.
I was one of three approved general contractors in Vancouver Canada for subway sandwich renovations and new builds. FRP came standard with their package and believe me when I say we did everything wrong while we were learning how to use it..
Very shortly after that we became very good at it. So much so that even when we did not win the project against our other two competitors they would still subcontract the FRP installation to us.
Word got around and very shortly after that we had other contractors from other restaurants calling us to help install FRP. One afternoon while working with my good friend and business partner at the time Curtis Hogan we realized that there was a business opportunity here in a niche market. That very day BCP installations was born. We told everyone that it stood for British Columbia paneling. The truth was it stood for Bob Curtis and Paul... We managed to build quite a beautiful little empire in this niche market. And through the help of some great people along the way we became synonymous with FRP and installation
But there was one real problem here. We always saw the shortcomings of the FRP from the perspective of a general contractor or project manager who needed to warrantee the work.
We reached out several times into the medical community since 2004 looking for solutions to the FRP dilemma. And to be honest it fell on deaf ears. We reached out to the PVC world but they were so busy charging huge mark ups and supplying specialty installation for hospitals and government jobs with big budgets that they could care less about the little jobs and our little problems.
That was until we found Jemiclad UK.
We explained our problems to these wonderful gentleman and they saw the need we were trying to fill. We worked diligently with them to create Cocina Clad and Cannabis Clad. We literally took a year to discuss all of the challenges with FRP and address each and everyone finding not only a simple solution but a long lasting durable solution that would guarantee the life of the product and the quality of the installation for the end-user
I am no longer with the CP installations. Both Curtis and I parted ways when we sold the company in 2013.
The creation and partnership here in Canada with Jemiclad UK was originally intended to give me and the people I know the competitive edge. But it soon became apparent that this was bigger than our little company and getting the one up on our current competition. So with the wonderful opportunity and blessing of the united kingdom Jemiclad we moved forward to get all testing done here in Canada and the United States. I threw caution to the wind and took a chance. We are now selling this product throughout North America and crushing the FRP competition. There is no other product on the market like our Cocina Clad ( for Commercial Kitchens ) and Cannabis Clad ( for all forms of cannabis growing and extraction ).
